BACH REMEDIES

Bach remedies are flower essences discovered by Dr Edward Bach, a noted Harley Street physician, homeopath, bacteriologist and researcher of U K. He developed a complete system of 38 flower essences that help us discover the positive side of ourselves and help us live emotionally stable life. Dissatisfied with orthodox medicine and the emphasis on diseases and drugs rather than the patient who was a suffering  human being. Confident that he could find a new system of healing in nature, he left his flourishing medical practice in London.

He believed that mental attitude played an important role in maintaining health and recovering from  illness and wanted to treat the cause rather than symptom. He identified 38 basic negatives states of mind, he spent several years exploring the country side and developed 38 flower remedies for each negative attitude. Each of the flower remedy is unique and helps to treat a specific emotion. The flower essences are completely safe and natural and have no side effects whatsoever. They can be given to plants and animals because they are so gentle.

How do Bach remedies work

Bach flower essences work on our subtle energies and remove the negative emotional state. For instance, a child sent away to a hostel may miss his parents. In that case, Chicory helps the child not to miss his parents. Walnut will help him to quickly adjust and adapt to the many changes in food, climate, new environment, etc. If he is in tears, Cherry Plum will take away his sadness. If he is feeling hopeless, Gorse will restore his hopefulness. The 38 remedies deal with specific emotional and mental conditions and are very effective in tackling dis-ease. The remedies are prescribed on the basis of the exact words used by the client. For example: Shobha may complain that Mohan is a perfectionist. We will prescribe Willow for her. But Anjali may blame herself for Mohan being a perfectionist. In this case, the remedy for Anjali will be Pine.

Depression, procrastination, anger, extreme quietness, victim mentality, lack of confidence, repetitive behavior, sleeplessness, pain, fear, claustrophobia, anxiety, extreme tiredness and exhaustion, etc, all respond very well to Bach remedies. Children who find it difficult to study also find it easy to remember and do well in studies with the help of Bach remedies. These wondrous flower essences are found to be very effective in managing pain,   In cases where no other pain killers work, as in terminally ill cancer patients, you will find Cherry Plum alleviating the pain and causing no side effects.
